How to Use the USB Data Transfer Speed Tester ?

1. Test USB 3.0 Male to Female Extension Cable
Insert the extension cable into the computer port. For the female connector, plug in the USB-A male connector of the tester. When the port is at USB 3.0 speed, the 5G+U2 light will turn on.
2. Test USB-C 3.1 Male to Female Extension Cable
Insert the extension cable into the computer port. For the female connector, plug in the USB-C male connector of the tester. When the port is at USB 3.1 speed, the 10G+U2 light will turn on.
3. Test USB 3.1 Male to Male Cable
Insert the USB C to C cable into the computer port, and in between, add our USB 3.1 Female to Female Coupler, adapter part number PCM-KW-516. When the cable is at USB 3.1 speed, the 10G+U2 light will turn on.
4. Test USB Hub
Insert the USB Hub input into the computer and connect the tester to each USB port on the hub.
When the port is at USB 3.0 speed, the 5G+U2 light will turn on.
When the port is at USB 3.1 speed, the 10G+U2 light will turn on.
5. When the USB port voltage exceeds 5V, the OVP light will turn on.
