| Description | The DP bus connector is mainly used for unit and field level communication in manufacturing automation systems and transmits data in the form of a round robin communication between the SPS communication port and the process field bus cable. The DP connector is a universal RS485 connection component between master station and slave station cable in the DP protocol of the process field bus. Profibus connectors come in a wide range of designs, configurations and features.
