Detail

Panel Mount Fakra-Z Male to Female RG174 Coaxial Cable

PCM-0792 features a Fakra-Z male bulkhead connector on one end and a standard Fakra-Z female connector on the other, linked through a 50Ω RG174 coaxial cable assembly. The bulkhead side incorporates a threaded mounting body, sealing gasket, and locking nut, allowing secure installation through equipment panels, enclosures, and vehicle housings. A molded strain-relief structure at both cable exits helps maintain cable stability under repeated movement and vibration.

The assembly supports direct routing of RF signals between external antennas and internal communication modules while preserving shield continuity from connector to connector. Available in 150 mm and 250 mm lengths, PCM-0792 is commonly integrated into automotive telematics systems, GPS receivers, wireless gateways, IoT equipment, and panel-mounted RF antenna interfaces requiring a fixed feedthrough connection.

FAQs :

Q1: Does the cable support GPS and cellular antennas?

Yes. The RG174 50Ω coaxial structure supports GPS, LTE, 4G, 5G, Wi-Fi, and other RF antenna systems operating with 50Ω impedance requirements.

Q2: Is the bulkhead connector waterproof?

The assembly includes a sealing gasket that helps improve dust and moisture protection around the panel opening. The overall waterproof performance depends on panel design and installation conditions.

Q3: What does the Fakra-Z coding mean?

Fakra-Z is the universal coding version within the Fakra connector family. It can be used where a dedicated color-coded Fakra interface is not required and is commonly used for aftermarket and general RF applications.
