Papua New Guinea HDB62 Male to Female Extension Cable with Ferrite Core
Category:
Papua New GuineaD-Sub Bus Connector
Product Description
HDB62 Extension Cable with Ferrite Core | High Density 62 Pin D-Sub Male to Female Cable
PCM-0970 HDB62 Male to Female Extension Cable uses a high-density 62-pin D-Sub interface with male and female connectors for extending signal connections in industrial control systems. The cable is built with UL20276 2834PRS+AEB 34-pair twisted cable and aluminum foil overall shielding, providing a structured solution for differential signal wiring.
Two ferrite cores are installed near the connector ends to reduce high-frequency noise. Nickel-plated shells, UNC4-40 locking screws, and PVC overmold strain relief complete the assembly for use in motion control, machine vision, and automation equipment.

Applications :
Data Acquisition Equipment
Connects high-density interface modules and measurement systems.
Industrial Automation Equipment
Used for signal extension between controllers, industrial computers, and automation modules.
Industrial Retrofit Projects
Provides replacement and extension solutions for existing HDB62-based equipment installations.
Machine Vision Systems

FAQs :
What cable structure is used in PCM-0970?
PCM-0970 uses UL20276 2834PRS+AEB cable with 34 twisted pairs and aluminum foil shielding, supporting differential signal transmission.
Why does PCM-0970 include ferrite cores?
The ferrite cores installed near both connector ends help suppress high-frequency electromagnetic noise generated by industrial equipment, improving EMC performance.
Is PCM-0970 suitable for servo systems?
Yes. The HDB62 interface, twisted pair construction, shielding, and ferrite filtering structure make it suitable for motion control and industrial automation signal connections.
What is the difference between HDB62 and standard DB62 connectors?
HDB62 uses a high-density contact arrangement with more compact pin spacing compared with standard D-Sub connector structures, allowing more signals in a smaller connector footprint.
What is an HDB62 extension cable?
An HDB62 extension cable is a high-density D-Sub cable assembly using 62 contacts to extend signal connections between compatible industrial devices, controllers, and interface modules.
