DB9 Female RS232 to RS485 RS422 Converter Adapter
PCM-KW-472 is an active RS232 to RS485 / RS422 converter designed to interface DB9 equipped RS232 equipment with industrial devices using RS485, RS422 serial signals. The input side uses a D Sub 9 Pin female connector, while the output side provides a 5 position terminal block with 3.81 mm pitch for direct field wiring.
The converter performs signal and electrical level conversion between different serial interfaces, allowing compatible equipment to exchange data without changing the host interface. The terminal block provides connections for RS485 and RS422 communication. An integrated Active indicator and RS485 / RS422 mode indication provide basic operating status information. With front rivet nut or rear locking screw mounting options, PCM-KW-472 is suited to industrial automation, sensor communication, remote monitoring, building automation and IoT systems.
