The CX4 connector has relationships with InfiniBand ,  Ethernet , and industrial cameras as follows:

1.  CX4 Connector and InfiniBand : 

CX4  is a physical connector interface designed for high-speed data transmission, particularly in networking and storage environments.

InfiniBand  is a high-performance interconnect technology used in data centers, supercomputing, and storage networks. The CX4 connector was one of the standard physical interfaces in early InfiniBand implementations, supporting high bandwidth and low-latency data transfer.

In InfiniBand networks, CX4 connectors could transmit data at speeds of up to 10 Gbps, providing a reliable connection solution for high-performance computing and storage applications.

2.  CX4 Connector and Ethernet : 

CX4 is also used in  10 Gigabit Ethernet (10GbE)  connections. It was one of the physical layer interfaces used for short-range, high-speed data transmission，typically within 15 meters.

As a copper-based connector, CX4 was suitable for connecting servers, switches, and storage devices within data centers, offering a cost-effective and reliable solution for short-distance transmission.

While more modern Ethernet interfaces，such as SFP+ and QSFP and optical fiber have largely replaced CX4, it remains used in some legacy systems.

3.  CX4 Connector and Industrial Cameras : 

In the industrial camera space, the CX4 connector can be used for high-speed data transmission, particularly in machine vision systems where large amounts of data need to be transferred quickly.

CX4 can provide a fast and stable data link for industrial cameras, especially when using Ethernet protocols，such as 10GbE that require high bandwidth and low latency for image data transmission to processing systems.
