| Description | The terminal resistor is an electronic component in the circuit. It is often used to adjust the input and output impedance of the circuit to prevent signal voltage fluctuations and reflections to ensure stable signal transmission. The role of the terminal resistor can be understood from the perspective of circuit transmission. In a circuit, signals need to be transmitted through cables or transmission media. When the signal is transmitted to the end of the transmission line, if there is no terminating resistor, part of the signal will be reflected back to the source end, which will produce echo and reflection interference. This reflection phenomenon will cause signal distortion, so that the amplitude and phase of the signal cannot be accurately received and decoded. The purpose of the terminal resistor is to solve this problem. By connecting the terminal resistor to the end of the transmission line, the signal can be completely matched between the transmission line and the terminal resistor, reducing or eliminating the impact of reflections. The terminal resistor can absorb the reflected signal on the transmission line, reduce the impact of echo and reflection interference, thereby maintaining stable signal transmission. |
